This sermon explores how God foretold the coming of Christ’s Kingdom centuries before Jesus’ birth. Looking in particular at chapters 2 and 7 of the Prophet Daniel, we see earthly empires – Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome – all judged by the Ancient of Days and given to Christ at his ascension. His Kingdom begins small, yet will grow to fill the whole earth – even in this age. Isaiah 9 adds more detail, showing us the character of this Kingdom – a Kingdom of peace, of righteousness, of which its increase shall have no end.
