About VC

Our mission is to play our part in fulfilling the Dominion Mandate of Genesis 1:26-28, and the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20. This means striving to build a culture that is full of truth, beauty, and virtue – radically different from the broken culture around us. Like a river, it begins with the spring – God’s Word and particularly the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. This then flows out into the tributaries of our lives, and as it does so, our families are blessed, our hospitality increased, and our men, women, boys, and girls, are equipped and transformed to fulfill their callings. We welcome you to come and join us as we play our part in the building of this New Covenant culture, and to share with us in the manifold blessings that this brings.

VC Bible Study

8pm | TUESDAY

The Word of God is our rule for life. On Tuesday evenings we meet for an hour to go through the Scriptures, usually working our way through books a chapter at a time. The format is usually ten minutes or so of teaching on the chapter and its context by our Minister, followed by a number of questions intended to really dig into the meaning, and which never fail to produce fruitful discussions. Being a geographically spread out congregation, these studies take place remotely. Email admin@victorychapel.uk to learn more.

VC Hospitality

God describes his Gospel as “a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow” for “all people” (Isaiah 25:6). What can we do but try to model his generosity in our own hospitality? At VC, this takes many forms including our monthly church lunch; Psalm singing and food at our Minister’s house once a month; and weekly get togethers around one another’s houses after church. These are genuinely feasts of fat things, where we give grateful thanks to God for his abundance, and where we then eat, talk, sing, laugh, and rejoice together in God’s hospitality towards us.

VC Men

When men are living the Biblical ideal – loving their wives, leading their families, working diligently, acting courageously, standing for the truth – society is blessed. When they are not, society crumbles. In a day when so many boys and men have been emasculated by believing toxic agendas, we at VC seek to embolden them to understand, imbibe and live out the Biblical ideal, so they can play their part in the recovery of truly blessed families, workplaces, and society. As well as meeting on Sundays, the men and boys get together for drinks, meals, and walks – where very few topics are off-limits.

VC Women

According to the Apostle Paul, “the woman is the glory of the man.” When both men and women understand what this means, and strive to live it out, marriages, families, churches, and societies achieve a blessed harmony. In a time when so many girls and women are pressured to despise the glory that God has given them, we at VC seek to recover a view of Biblical femininity, with women seeking to cultivate the virtue, grace, strength, and blessedness of the woman of Proverbs 31. As well as meeting on Sundays, the girls and women get together for food, films, cooking, and all sorts of fine things.

VC Children

“Children are are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward,” says David in Psalm 127. But in a day when birthrates are rock bottom, in both nation and church, who believes this anymore? Actually, at VC we really do believe this, which is why we encourage couples to obey Genesis 1:28; why children always worship with the adults; and why we really do treat children baptised into the covenant as covenant children. Our aim is to equip parents to raise their children to true Godly maturity, and to bless our children by teaching them to love God and the fellowship of his people.

Our Minister
